Here is a prime example of a child's tricycle, but it is more than that. It is an even more prime example of the art deco style from the twenties and thirties. Look closely and you will find the design from the 1935 Auburn Boattail Speedster. I wonder if this tricycle predated the Auburn. In the handlebars, you see the shape of the stealth jet of today. The shape predated the knowledge that it would slip under radar. I am sure that as a young boy. I could have pedaled at least 60 miles an hour on this tricycle, probably around the dining room table.
