This is Bill Elliott's brother, and he told many stories of the Elliotts in the beginning days. Again behind him is Raymond Parks who had much to do with the beginning of Nascar, because he was the money man behind Bill France Sr. and was the one who carried the satchel with the guaranteed pourse for most of the earliest races in the Nascar beginnings.
