Larger than usual turnout

Usually, this show is a much smaller event than the Turkey Rod Run in November. This year saw the numbers grow dramatically in both the number of cars that turned out and the number of vendors in the swap meet area. When you fill the center of the Daytona International Speedway, you have done something right!

Across from the O.F.C.C. tent was the headquarters for the show and this was the giveaway car for this year.

In the early morning nist, any and all types of vehicles were there for you to admire.

O.F.C.C. member Ken Van Zill is a radio personality that broadcasts "This Old Car" for 2 hours every Saturday morning in the Tampa, FL area. One of the highlights of that show is trivia questions about the old car hobby. As we were standing in the tent and looking across the aisle at this Crosley, Ken asked me if I knew what the largest selling station wagon was for the year 1948. Would you have answered Crosley? If you had, you would be right!
