As I was taking pictures of the Rodfthr car, I looked over to see this roadster and was very impressed with the small details that went into it's construction.
Notice the runningboards strips that curve to fit the shape and the matching flutes on the hood sides. Very subtle.
I didn't realize till later that this was the car Gary Meadors was driving and traveling with Andy Brizio from show to show.
Absolutely gorgeous interior and matching styling. Attention to detail and nothing flamboyant, just understated elegance.
Well. that the 8th Dixie Nationals in it's new location. The Conyers Horse Park is the perfect location for a rod run. The Goodguys organization puts on the best shows in the country. The only problem is you can't control the weather. I can tell you this, we will be back next year for this show and we will be at as many Goodguys events as we can. With the passing of our good friend Bill Burnham, the new rodders rep is Brad Pitzer and we were very impressed with his taking over a very difficult transition. And our tent buddy Troy Shuttlesworth came through again with valuable help and assistance. We were pleased to meet the Meadors, Gary and Marilyn, and will be at Indy, God willing, and look forward to seeing all our friends from the Goodguys organization once again.
