Sunday was pretty much under the weather as a steady drizzle began to fall. The Goodguys brought as many participants as possible into the pavilion and made them as comfortable as possible. It was really a shame that the weather did not cooperate for the show, but that is part and parcel of the rod run experience. You can't fight Mother Nature. The entire Southeast US was socked in as the big race, the Winston 500, in neighboring Alabama was also washed out.

Many of the beauties in the pavilion on Sunday. I feel that the consensus of opinion on this location was completely favorable. On a sunny weekend this place would be spectacular and we will definitely be back next year in our beautiful spot on the corner in front of the pavilion.

The Goodguys have been in our booth in Daytona for several years now and it was good to come to their show and they certainly made us feel welcome.

No one can say that the Goodguys don't put on a good show and we look forward to going to the next show on the schedule for us, which is Indy, this is the DUPONT/NHRA/GOODGUYS HOT ROD NATIONALS, June 13,14,and 15, at the Indianapolis Raceway Park. Rods, Customs and Classics through 1962, racers through 1972.
