This is probably the most famous icon of the SoCal shop. Built from the belly tank of a world war 2 bomber, these shapes started showing up on the lake beds of California and the salt flats of Utah. Aerodynamically efficient, these where the perfect body to go fast. Wonder what that felt like to be sitting in this thing going 200 miles per hour.
