Little Deuce Coupe 1932 Ford

Alexander Bros. built the first version of this car called "The Silver Sapphire" which was unchopped. It was dark blue and pinstriped in silver by Paul Hatton of Detroit.. They also built this famous grill shell. After Clarence went to California to go to school, Barris chopped the top and painted it a beautiful, almost translucent blue. The top was actually probably chopped by Dick Dean or Bill Hines, who were both working for Barris at the time.
