The show featured Blackie Gejian from California. Blackies 1926 T roadster.Ê It is the 1955 winner,Ê not the first AMBR winner. This is from an Email from Dean Court. The first winner was Bill Niekamp with a 1929 A body, 1927 Essex frame ,and 1942 Ford engine. The front had a full nose a hood that covered the engine.Ê Jim Jacobs from Pete and Jakes restored it in Rod & Custom magazine, and just might still have it.
